We provide a variety of services in including free Walk & Talk sessions, training in managing emotional health for those in both the voluntary and corporate sector, a community podcast and training in running your own walk and talk sessions.

Our vision is to enable others to develop and run their own walk and talk group in a safe and effective way. It can be daunting setting out creating something like this- so we have done a chunk of the work for you.

We cover all the elements you need to be able to safely and effectively run walk and talk group, including appropriate insurance, safeguarding, relevant policies and procedures and risk assessment too.

As well as buying the pack as a stand alone item, we also offer a combination of bespoke training and consultancy to help you on your journey in developing your walk and talk group.
If you answered yes, then our walks are for you. We meet every Wednesday in Horsham Park, at the Human Nature Garden at 10am and every Friday by ‘Iggy’ the dinosaur in Lintot Square, at 12pm.

We go for a moderately paced walk around Horsham Park on a Wednesday and Southwater Country Park on a Friday, completing both walks within an hour.
Walks are FREE, there is no need to book in advance and are open to anyone over 18, registered assistance dogs are also welcome.
Our walks are not a replacement for therapy and they are not classed as mental health walks. Our walks are there to help people get out and connect in the community and with nature, to support both physical and emotional health.
If you would like to get an idea of what one of our walks looks like, please follow us on social media.
We hope to see you at one of our walks soon!

Part of the work of Conversation Starter Project CIC is providing high quality wellbeing training and events.
We can offer bespoke staff wellbeing training for your organisation, whether you are in the corporate or voluntary sector.
Support models relying solely on crisis-driven approaches like mental health first aid, often means that they are addressing issues after they’ve escalated, which can lead to higher staff absenteeism and longer recovery times.
We can give you strategies to spot potential wellbeing issues early and provide actionable steps to prevent mental health problems before they impact performance and attendance. This reduces the need for reactive measures like crisis management and ensures employees stay engaged and present.
Tips on creating a structured workday and mindfulness techniques to stay focused and reduce stress.
Strategies to recognise early signs of stress and burnout.
Best practices for staying connected with colleagues and managers in a remote setting.
Ways to improve virtual collaboration.
We listen to your needs rather than telling you what you need.
We are happy to offer follow-up support sessions tailored to your organisation as required.
Your organisation can also opt to donate a free wellbeing session for the community as part of your corporate package.
You can decide the type of wellbeing session you donate and also any particular demographic you would like to support. We feel this model will help companies not only support their own employees but also learn more about the needs of the local community too!
Welcome to The Conversation Starter Podcast! Our very own community podcast for 2026. We have great conversations with our community partners from the charity and voluntary sector who are all doing amazing things to support those in our community. Check it out on Spotify and Youtube:
